*lesiiiigh* Okay so, my roommate has a nice HP all in one scanner printer thing, that has never been out of the box, and I figured I'd hook it up and maybe try and scan in a bunch of the mass amount of sketches I have. Well that was all well and good until I pulled everything out of the box and realized that apparently HP is retarded, and they include everything in the box, EXCEPT the USB cable to connect the scanner/printer to the computer. It even says on the box; 'includes all necessary components except HP USB cable bla bla bla...' ...WTF? Seriously. *headdesk*

So I might have a USB cable from my old HP all in one that I used to have. But if i do its buried somewhere in a box. <_< And along with that issue, I tried hooking up my Tablet to my new laptop last night, cuz i REALLY wanna draw and start uploading again. So when i installed the tablet and downloaded the drivers, everything seemed to be working great with my new OpenCanvas 4....until i touched the pen to the tablet. It started spasming and bouncing everywhere. It was like the tablet was sensing two different pens at once. It pissed me off something fierce. So I have a scanner that doesnt work because HP is stupid, and my tablet is old and Vista is retarded so that doesnt work.

...And i have to go and call the vet so I can get my 2 stupid cats spayed and neutered.

Actually; it's not just HP. The entire printer/scanner industry does this -- they deliberately omit bundling the USB cable so the retail store can talk you into buying a USB cable and, while you're at it .. oh look at extra ink carts and how about some gloss paper?

You see where I'm going? It's a vehicle to get you to buy more accessories. That's where the real money is made.

Yeah i figured it was something like that. >_< It makes me angry. Once I stop being lazy and get around to digging through my old boxes I'll hopefully find my USB cable from my old HP AIO...i hope I have one anyway. :/

let me know if you don't -- USB cables naturally occur in my dwelling. In fact; I'm using one to tether a catnip toy thing for my cat because I don't have fishing line or any other sort of string.

Yeah. I have that many.

I feel your pain... I hate technology xD it could be worse though. Like I always say: you could have broken legs. That would be more annoying

Ugh yeah broken legs would definatly be more of a pain...literally. XD

*flop* I've been...okay. Things could be a lot worse, but they could also be a lot better. I shouldnt be complaining about not having a job just cuz im actually getting time to play WoW for now. XD Bahahaha!

LOL yeah thats pretty awesome. XD If you do have an extra one that you wouldnt mind sending me, I wouldnt complain. I did try digging through all my boxes last night and I didnt see my old cable anywhere...which means my old roommate prolly snagged it when i wasnt paying attention. *SIGH*
